Graveyard Shift Tour (group of 16) 10/11/07

Thank you for the fantastic tour you gave on Saturday afternoon - we were still singing Burke and Hare on Sunday afternoon!!  Everyone loved the tour and we were laughing at breakfast yesterday as the conversation was smattered with references to Edinburgh's "darker side" - so we would all have been "straight A students" had we been tested!

Thank you so much for your excellent tour of Old Town and New Town Edinburgh.
The history of Edinburgh really came to life with your informative guiding style and we came away with a clear understanding of the past in relation to the present city that exists today.
The details that you include in your tours, from the kilt you wear to the Deacon Brodie's re-enactment make this tour a rare treat for travellers. It was the perfect introduction to the city and made the remainder of our stay in Edinburgh so much more enjoyable. 
This tour is not to be missed!

"I thought the companion program was terrific.  A large part of it's success was your enthusiasm and knowledge.  Your humor helped make a group of some strangers and some old friends mesh together into a very fun group.  Several participants commented to me that this conference (ICPA) is the only one that they attend with their spouses because of the interesting and fun Companion Program. Next time we visit Edinburgh we will call you up and get the "special Pete tour"  and find out all about the secrets of Edinburgh"

The students and staff enjoyed the tour very much. It was fun going right into the cemetery and back streets to hear the stories of events that happened in the past. The tour guides were very interesting and entertaining. One student said it was educational yet entertaining, like being in an interactive museum. The students liked being incorporated into the various stories. The students enjoyed singing the song that they had learned, and even sang it at our final Music Night when we were watching a slide show of the trip.

Hi Pete,

I've had nothing but positive feedback from my friends about the tour which in many ways was the highlight of the weekend. We were particularly lucky to have four very competent guides to ourselves for 2,5 hours and thoroughly enjoyed every minute.
